Warranty

LIMITED WARRANTY - 2 YEARS

We warrant that this electric surfboard, including its original battery and electronic components (remote control, charger), is free from manufacturing defects, provided it is used normally and in accordance with the user manual. 

For any new product, the warranty period is two (2) years from the date of delivery. For any demonstration product, the warranty period is one (1) year from the date of delivery. 

 The warranty is transferable to a new owner if E-Surf Sport Inc. is notified. The remaining warranty period is not extended. 

WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS 

The warranty does not cover: 

• Normal wear and tear or cosmetic damage 
• Unauthorized repairs or modifications 
• Damage from poor maintenance or improper storage 
• Use in extreme conditions (freezing, heat) 
• Damage caused by accidents, impacts, or improper use 
• Damage from unapproved accessories 
• Corrosion or any damage resulting from exposure to saltwater or inadequate rinsing 
• Damage caused by pressure washing / high-pressure water spray
• Late claims (more than 30 days after discovering the defect) 

SHIPPING RESPONSIBILITY FOR WARRANTY SERVICE 

Customers are responsible for all shipping and transportation costs associated with warranty service. Products must be shipped to and from the nearest authorized service location designated by E-Surf Sport Inc. 

 In the event of a warranty claim, the customer must: 

• Arrange and pay for shipment of the product to the assigned service location; 
• Ensure the product is securely packaged to prevent damage during transit; 
• Cover any return shipping costs once the service is complete. 

E-Surf Sport Inc. may assist in identifying the appropriate service location but does not assume responsibility for transportation costs, shipping insurance, customs, or handling fees. 

Warranty service will be performed only once the product is received and inspected by E-Surf Sport Inc. or an authorized service provider. 

CLAIM PROCEDURE 

A valid proof of purchase (invoice or receipt) may be required to confirm the warranty period and claim eligibility. 

E-Surf Sport Inc. will evaluate the claim within 30 days of receiving the complete product. This timeframe may be extended if further inspections or information are necessary. 

If, after inspection, the damage is found to result from misuse, accident, or failure to follow the user manual, the repair will not be covered under warranty. A repair and return quote may be provided to the customer. 

USER MAINTENANCE – SALTWATER USE WITH REQUIRED RINSING 

 No technical service or certified maintenance is required to maintain the warranty. 

However, the user must follow the basic end-of-use checks outlined in the user manual, including: 

• Ensuring the jet turbine is free of debris or obstructions; 
• Checking that there is no sand, dirt, or moisture in the connectors; 
• Thoroughly rinsing the product with freshwater after any saltwater use; 
• Rinse using low pressure only. Do not use a pressure washer / high-pressure nozzle; 
• Drying and storing the board properly, away from direct sunlight and humidity. 

Use in saltwater is permitted. However, corrosion or any damage resulting from exposure to saltwater or inadequate rinsing is not covered under warranty. 

BATTERY USE AND STORAGE 

The user must follow all safety guidelines related to the battery, as described in the user manual. In particular: 

• Never leave the battery exposed to direct sunlight or any heat source for extended periods. Always remove the battery from the board after each session. 
• Store the battery at room temperature (between 15–28°C / 59–82°F) in a dry environment. 
• Never store the battery when it is fully charged or fully depleted. To preserve its lifespan and reduce the risk of cell damage or incident, store the battery with approximately 30% chargewhen not in use for an extended period. 
• Never connect or use a damaged, corroded, or unstable battery.  Any failure resulting from improper battery handling or storage will void the warranty, without exception. 

LIABILITY 

 To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, E-Surf Sport Inc. shall not be liable for any injury, property damage, or loss resulting from: 

• Use of the product not in accordance with the user manual; 
• Negligence or irresponsible behavior by the user 
• Use under the influence of drugs, alcohol, or medication; 
• Unauthorized modification or repair of the product; 
• Intentional disregard of safety instructions. 

The user assumes full responsibility for any use of the product outside the specified conditions. The user acknowledges and accepts that operating an electric surfboard involves inherent risks, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, or collision, even when used properly. E-Surf Sport Inc. does not guarantee the absence of danger, and the user voluntarily accepts these risks. 

This limitation of liability applies to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
